Get to know Coach Harris:

Personal basketball education and playing background:

->Coach Harris Received his earliest fundamental ball handling and shooting training in the game directly from  legendary College, ABA, and NBA Coach Larry Brown.

->He was coached  at high School select summer camps  by current and long time NBA  Coach Alvin Gentry .

->As a direct result of being developed by these legends in high school.during his playing days, Coach Harris became  known for his distance and midrange shooting technique and accuracy.

-> He was a starting Point Guard on various  high school and city league teams and was asked to walk  on at Colorado State University mainly because of his shooting prowess demonstrated in University pick up and intramural games at CSU. However he chose to attack his electrical engineering studies, without distractions, to ensure success academically.  Ultimately, A wise decision as he holds 3 engineering patents . as well as 3 patent pendings for basketball specific athletic  training gear.

Coaching and Teaching experience: To gain valuable teaching/coaching  experience, Coach Harris took 3 years off from engineering and from running his own business to teach HS mathematics and coach basketball at both Lanier and Connally High schools in Austin, Tx. While there, he introduced both programs to his techniques and philosophy on both basketball skills development and positionless basketball schemes.

->In three consecutive seasons, as lead skills development coach, he brought two  under-performing, 2 wins per season, varsity HS teams the year prior to his arrival, to play-off appearances and 20 win seasons each after working with him for just one season each.

->Coach Harris was thrice selected as a basketball skills coach  by Kevin Durant for his  Pro Sports Camp for Texas high school area players held in Austin.

Founder of Snyper Hoops: He has been running his own skills development summer clinic's since 2010 . Until recently, his training has been spread by word of mouth. Both parents and student athletes had asked him to publish a website for years.  He had kept  advertising to a minimum relying mainly on word of month and results to attract new clients.  He likes to keep the sessions to under 10 kids at a time, and offers private 1 on 1 sessions reserved for the very serious player, who wants to play on His/Her HS varsity team or college ball and loves to practice.

In Summary: Coach Harris combines his playing knowledge of basketball, body mechanics, and physics along with his knowledge and success gained coaching varsity basketball to help him both teach and analyze the entire player.

Coach Harris is a regular at the summer pro league in Las Vegas. Here he discusses basketball with Hersey Hawkins.
